Underwater gallery from Cortes Sea and Socorro islands

Here is my diving photo gallery from the incredible Sea of Cortez in Mexico, one of the world's most spectacular marine destinations. My underwater adventure began at Los Islotes, where I had the amazing opportunity to dive with playful sea lions. These curious and acrobatic creatures made the experience absolutely unforgettable. I also explored the remote Socorro Islands, known for their incredible pelagic encounters. There, I witnessed powerful manta rays gracefully gliding through the water, their massive wingspans creating an awe-inspiring spectacle. Swimming alongside dolphins was pure magic, while reef sharks patrolled the coral formations below. One of the highlights was encountering silvertip sharks and galapagos shark, similar to those found in the Galapagos, their impressive presence commanding respect. I photographed massive schools of Cottonmouth Jack fish creating swirling tornadoes underwater, and hunted for large bluefin trevally, powerful predators ruling the reef. Dense schools of Burrito Grunt fish filled the water column, and incredibly, I even met a magnificent whale shark, the gentle giant of the ocean.
